For Hosts

Creating & Managing Events

How do I create an event?
Tap "Create event," add your title, date, time, location, description, and cover image. Then share the invite link anywhere.
Can I edit event details after sending invites?
Yes. Any updates you make (time, location, description, etc.) are instantly updated for all guests.
Can I duplicate an event?
Yes. You can duplicate previous events to quickly recreate recurring formats.
Can I co-host an event?
Yes. You can add multiple co-hosts to help manage the event.
Can I host recurring events?
Yes. Venga works well for weekly, monthly, or recurring community formats.

Guest List & RSVPs

Can I limit the number of guests?
Yes. You can set a guest cap with Limited Spots and enable an automatic waitlist.
How does the waitlist work?
When the event reaches capacity, new guests can join the waitlist. If someone cancels, the next person in line is moved to "Going" automatically, and will get a notification about this.
Can I see who's coming?
Yes. You'll see RSVP statuses in real time: Going, Maybe, Not Going, and Invited.
Can I remove someone from my event?
Yes. Hosts can manually remove guests and change guests' RSVP status if needed.
Can I download the guest list?
Yes. You can export guest data as a CSV file.

Event Settings & Customization

Can I create questionnaires/RSVP forms?
Yes. You can add custom questions to collect information such as dietary preferences, allergies, e-mails or other details.
Can I require questions before RSVP?
Yes. Guests must complete required fields before confirming attendance.
Can I hide the guest list?
Yes. You can choose whether guests can see other attendees in your event settings.
Can I disable the event chat?
Yes. You can enable or disable event chat in settings.
Can I send reminders to my guests?
Yes. You can send manual reminders and announcements with SMS blasts or simply use built in event chat. Automatic reminders are also sent to your guests before the event. You can turn reminders and notifications off in event settings.

Invites & Communication

How can I invite people?
You can invite via: Shareable link, SMS, Phone contacts, Email, In-app connections.
Can I send SMS blasts?
Yes. You can send bulk SMS updates to guests directly from the event.
Will guests get notified about changes?
Yes. Important updates such as location, time and date changes are automatically shared with your guests.
Do guests need the app for notifications?
No. Guests without the app receive SMS updates.

Club Chat

What is Club Chat?
A shared group chat inside your Social Club for coordination and updates.
Can everyone write in chat?
Yes, unless restricted by admins.
Can admins moderate chat?
Yes. Admins can remove messages or members if needed.

Ticketing & Paid Events

Can I sell tickets on Venga?
Yes. You can create paid events and sell tickets directly through Venga.
How do I set up tickets for my event?
To sell tickets, you need to create a Social Club and connect a new or existing Stripe account in your Club Dashboard. Stripe setup takes about 5 minutes. Once connected, you can enable paid tickets on your event and start selling.
How do I scan tickets?
Each ticket includes a unique QR code. At the entrance, simply scan the QR code using your iPhone camera. You'll automatically be directed to the admin check-in page, where you can confirm and check in your guest instantly.
What fees does Venga charge?
Venga charges a 2% platform fee per ticket sold. Stripe processing fees apply separately (1.5% + 1.80 SEK, depending on your country).
How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account and receive payouts directly.
I can't see my Venga transactions in my Stripe dashboard?
No worries, this is a common setup with Stripe. If you connected an existing Stripe account to Venga, Stripe may have automatically created a separate account for your Venga transactions (under the same login and email). To view them, simply switch accounts in the top-left corner of your Stripe dashboard.
Can I set multiple ticket types?
Yes. You can create different ticket categories (e.g., Early Bird, VIP, General Admission).
Can I limit ticket quantity per person?
Yes. You can set purchase limits and ticket quantities.
Can I issue refunds?
Yes. Refunds are handled directly via Stripe, according to your refund policy.
Does the receipt include VAT?
VAT handling depends on your Stripe tax settings. You can generate official receipts including tax breakdowns in your Stripe Dashboard.
Can I export ticket sales data?
Yes. Sales data can be exported for accounting purposes.

Photos & Memories

Can guests upload photos?
Yes. Guests can upload high-quality photos directly to the event.
Do guests need the app to upload photos?
No. Photos can be uploaded via web.
Can I download all photos?
Yes. Hosts can download all photos in high quality.
Can I control who uploads?
Yes. Upload permissions can be managed in event settings.
What is the Party Camera?
Party Camera is Venga's built-in digital disposable camera. It lets guests capture and share moments directly inside your event - all photos collected in one shared gallery. Photos are revealed the day after.
